Every other summer, Right Brain presents Imagine This! A Creativity Symposium for Educators, which brings together teachers, principals, teaching artists and other educators for three solid days to explore arts integration.

The 2018 symposium theme is “Igniting Social Justice through the Arts,” leading participants to explore how creative mediums can give a platform to those who are typically not heard. Symposium participants will join peers in the field, as well as local and national arts education leaders. They will choose from workshops, hands-on studio sessions and facilitated lesson planning sessions designed to provide tools participants can directly apply to their work in schools.

The Right Brain Initiative, the arts integration catalyst of the Regional Arts & Culture Council, has received five awards from the National Endowment for the Arts in support of its professional development program for teachers, arts specialists and teaching artists.
