Teaching Artist Application Information Session

Join us to learn more about arts integration and Teaching Artist opportunities! This session will consist of an interactive arts integration activity and the opportunity to hear from Teaching Artist programming across multiple organizations including The Right Brain Initiative, Latino Network, Young Audiences, The Walters Cultural Arts Center, and the Oregon Ballet Theater.

The first 30 minutes will be reserved for a hands on integration activity led by the Right Brain Initiative. Shoer (5 minute) introductions from each organization present will follow, leaving the last hour to focus on questions and small group conversations regarding Teaching Artist opportunities. Please attend for any/all portions of this evening.

Unavailable for this session? Check out Right Brain’s website for additional information sessions in multiple locations.

Open March 21st – May 16th : Teaching Artist Roster Application

RACC’s arts integration program, The Right Brain Initiative, and Young Audiences of Oregon & SW Washington released a call for teaching artists on March 21st. Teaching artists can apply to join rosters of one or both organizations with a single application.

We encourage artists to apply that fit one or both of the following: (1) bilingual artists who can teach in both Spanish and English, and/or (2) teaching artists who live on the periphery of RACC’s tri-county service area (Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties). Right Brain’s application review processes will prioritize artists that fit one or both of these needs while also displaying an understanding of arts-integrated teaching.

This session is entirely free and open to the public. Register for this event here.
