Thanks to all 200-ish of you who joined us last week at our Show + Tell 2010 event, which took place at the elegantly, urbanely cavernous Leftbank Annex. As our annual end-of-the-school-year celebration, we took this opportunity to provide as many look, ma! moments we could muster and provide a hearty thank you to the many, many individuals who helped us make it happen.

Show + Tell also serves as an excuse to launch our annual report, and a new multimedia exhibit that will travel throughout the tri-county region (we will talk much more about this in upcoming weeks). 

Perhaps most exciting of all, we were also able to provide to our attendees with a breaking announcement (pre-press release!) about the Portland area’s exciting new partnership with the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child intiative. So, as we looked back on our accomplishments from 2009-10, we were able to then look forward to an exciting 2010-11. This partnership with the Kennedy Center, an international arts leader, will help our region create a long-term plan to assure equitable arts education for K-8 students. (Again, this is turn of events is so big for Right Brain and for the Portland area, you can expect to read much more about this in the coming weeks.)
