Nina Troutman is a Portland artist and designer who also currently works in a local soft-goods and leather working factory. She has a bachelors degree in apparel design and merchandising from Oregon State University and always looks for the next challenge or way to understand the industry in a new way. She has a background of working with historical garments, costuming for theater, and (currently) american manufacturing. However, she has a special interest in recycled goods in particular, and hopes to one day base a business off of reusing things in a unique and beautiful way. She is originally from central California but moved to Oregon 11 years ago and has ever since been inspired by the nature and the emphasis on art and sustainable design.
