Helen Daltoso & Fred Williams
Daltoso & Williams
Helen Daltoso and Fred Williams collaboration originated in the mountains of Lesotho, where they were both Peace Corps volunteers. Helen owned a vintage Singer Treadle machine and made Hammer pants for anyone who would wear them, Fred, who had owned a cycling apparel company in Tucson, Arizona would not wear the hammer pants! Stateside, Helen and Fred’s friendship and shared love of creative endeavors cones to flourish. Fred, a Station 1 firefighter, enjoys woodworking and makes a mean flan, while Helen, grants officer at the Regional Arts & Culture Council loves to sew and bust out amazing dance moves. Each are proud to be showcasing their work at SHIFT with a look inspired by…they say you shouldn't go into business with a friend, but from the looks of it, this friendship is party in the front and business in the back.
