2017 ended with a bang for Right Brain and 149 other nonprofits featured in the Willamette Week Give!Guide. Between November 1 and December 31, 9,649 donors contributed to various Portland area nonprofit organizations within the Give!Guide to raise total amount of $4,206,173.

The Right Brain Initiative is happy to report that we reached our campaign goal of raising $15,000! With your generous support, we brought in $15,175 from 204 donors in the last two months of 2017. Here are some other cool facts about the campaign:

• More than half of those donors are return donors from 2016 and 84 donors were brand new to Right Brain.
• 42 of those donors were under the age of 36 and we’re all about Give!Guide’s goal to encourage young people to get involved in their community and engage in philanthropy!
• The average donation this year was $73, with the largest donation being $1,000.

So I guess what we’re trying to say is…THANK YOU.

Thank you for empowering students discover their creative voice by helping us provide arts education to K-8 students in the Portland area. Thank you for believing in the crucial role that the arts play in the lives and education of young people everywhere. None of this would be possible without you!
