The Right Brain Initiative

The Right Brain Initiative relocates!

September 27th, 2011 by Right Brain Team

The Right Brain crew will be working away as usual, but our headquarters at the Regional Arts & Culture Council are closed this week. Right Brain, along with Grants, Public Art and all the other departments of RACC, will transplant to a cool new storefront space in the Pearl District. We will be closed to the public through the 30th, but we’ll officially and proudly re-open our doors on Monday, October 3rd at 8:30 am.

Our new address at that time will be:

The Right Brain Initiative
Regional Arts & Culture Council
411 NW Park Avenue, Suite 101

Portland, Oregon 97209

We’re excited to be at street level with the great downtown community of Portland. Not only will we be more visible to you, but the vibrant public we love will be more visible to us! With easy access to bus, streetcar and MAX lines, as well as to the countless arts organizations, galleries, and cultural centers in the neighborhood, we’ll be steeped in the artistic life of the city.

Oh, and did we mention that the building is environmentally friendly? We will be occupying the former General Automotive Building, which is LEED gold certified.

All phone numbers and e-mail addresses within the organization will stay the same, and office hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm. And please note that this move does not affect our colleagues who work in the Young Audiences offices. Thanks for bearing with us, and we’ll see you on the 3rd of next month!
