We just wrapped up our third and most successful-ever campaign with the Willamette Week Give Guide! Thanks to our nearly 200 supporters, we raised over $10,831, which will be instrumental in helping The Right Brain Initiative serve kids in the Portland Metro area with meaningful artist residencies in their classrooms, and helping teachers incorporate the arts into their daily curriculum.
This was a big year for us. We had more donors than ever before, raised more money than ever before, and it seems that for the third year in a row, we have won the $500 bonus for attracting the most young donors in the Education category of the Guide! You also earned us a $5,000 match from KeyBank, Betsy and Marvin Kaiser, Barbara Mason, Lori and Max Miller and an anonymous donor.
Congratulations to the following donors who won our raffle prizes:
– Yolanda Evans won a two-night stay at the C.J. Howe Vacation Loft.
– Nitiya Sin won two tickets with free concessions to see the Portland Trail Blazers at the Club Level in March.
For a still-young program building our individual donor base from scratch, your participation through the Give!Guide is transformative. We can’t thank you enough for your support, but we’ll try: THANK YOU!!!
